29 recipients of the 63rd Annual Peabody Awards were presented with awards on May 17, 2004 at the Waldorf=Astoria Hotel in New York City. The winners were chosen by the Peabody board as the best in electronic media for the year 2003. Diane Sawyer emceed. Recipients included CBS News, American Experience, WESH-TV, KHOU-TV, Great Performances, WCNC-TV, Transom.org, KMGH-TV and Bill Moyers, among others. Winning shows included 60 Minutes, NewsHour with Jim Lehrer, The Wire, The Office, Mother Flew Away as a Kite and NOVA: The Elegant Universe with Brian Greene. Full list of 2003 winners: Link
