Winner 1953 | NBC Television
Under the leadership of Fred Coe, the Television Playhouse was, during 1953, in the judgment of many discerning critics, the most consistent producer of fine television drama. In recognition of its superior standards and achievement, we present to the playhouse a George Foster Peabody Award for outstanding entertainment.
