“Report Uncensored” for Outstanding Public Service by a Regional Station

Winner 1947 | WBBM Radio

Outstanding Public Service by a Regional Station: Every great municipality today is faced with the problem of juvenile delinquency. Our award for outstanding public service by a regional station goes to station WBBM of Chicago for its program, Report Uncensored. With alert detail and wise understanding, this program has helped to educate and arouse a great community to the causes of juvenile delinquency; and, what is more, has stimulated enlistment in the city Volunteer Bureau for a comprehensive attack on the problem.
