Winner 1971

Long-time contributor to quality television programming for children and youth, George Heinemann is sensitive to their needs, interests and tastes. He has been responsible for many outstanding NBC Children’s Theatre specials and for such current innovative series as Take a Giant Step and Watch Your Child/The Me Too Show.
