Mr. Knozit is something more than an “electronic babysitter.” It is a unique children’s program which has provided its followers with wholesome amusement and a source of education and experience involving their community, and country, the world, and the universe. In recognition, a Peabody Award for television youth and children’s programs. *WIS-TV’s weatherman, Joe Pinner, did double duty as “Mr. Knozit.”
