Twenty camera teams covered the devastation from Cape Cod to Westerly, from stricken southern shores of Rhode Island to Providence itself; their films, shown at hourly intervals through five consecutive days, told the courageous and costly story and have led to constructive precautions for such emergencies in the future. To the reporter teams and the station executives great credit is due.
