1975 | ABC Television Network

Such a drama was the ABC Theatre production, Love Among the Ruins, written for television by James Costigan, directed by George Cukor, and starring two of the most distinguished performers of our time: Katharine Hepburn and Laurence Olivier. It was intelligent and amusing to the ear and beautiful to the eye. It proved that television can go first class if it wishes to do so.
