A Walk Through the 20th Century With Bill Moyers

A Walk Through the 20th Century With Bill Moyers
1984 | The Corporation for Entertainment & Learning, Inc., WNET, New York, New York, KQED, San Francisco, California

It is true that learning can be fun, especially if your teacher is someone who looks and acts and sounds and interprets like Bill Moyers. It is even more fun if that person is Bill Moyers himself. This was the thinking of the Peabody Board in selecting A Walk Through the 20th Century With Bill Moyers for an award. These programs contribute immeasurably to the better understanding of the American people about their heritage and they provide enduring insights into the history and development of this nation. Senior executive producer Mert Koplin and his staff have a bona fide reason to be proud of the contributions which this series is making. Produced by CEL, Inc./Bill Moyers in association with WNET, New York and KQED, San Francisco, A Walk Through the 20th Century With Bill Moyers is television at its best and is richly deserving of Peabody recognition.
