The unique program, A Polish Millennium Concert, broadcast as a tribute to Poland’s 1,000th year of Christianity, featured the Milwaukee Symphony and noted Polish artists, thereby utilizing music as the universal language to build international understanding for its audience composed of many ethnic groups. In recognition, a Peabody Award for outstanding television local music.
