A Matter of Time: The Crisis in Kentucky Corrections

This is the third Peabody the WHAS Radio news department has won in the last four years. That, in itself, is a significant achievement. But what is even more significant, in the eyes of the Peabody Board, is the list of accomplishments which this exceptional news department has achieved in its community. In this particular instance the WHAS nine-member news team produced a superb documentary and followed up with a two-and-a-half hour call-in program that drew hundreds of comments. In the opinion of the members of the Peabody Board this station has shown meritorious performance, far beyond what might normally be expected, and the recognition of A Matter of Time: The Crisis in Kentucky Corrections with a Peabody is but a single example of the quality of this station.
